This airplane war comic was created by Sébastien Latour (Screenplay) and drawings by Maza in 2012.

Summer 1940. The daughter of an ace of the First World War, Laura Knight aviation in the blood. Forced to flee his country, Laura manages to reach England. But how to keep fighting? That leaves a woman handling a Spitfire? His encounter with an eccentric squadron leader will change her life and make her, in secret, the first French fighter pilot in the Royal Air Force. 

In August 1940. While that one 'nicknamed "Der Henker" (The Executioner) lamp one by one the leaders Squadron Royal Air Force, it was the turn of the squadron 1B losing its leader. Beset by doubt, Laure looking how to inspire a squad that has lost its spiritual father. Blinded by his desire for revenge and his back to the wall, she embarks on an epic dogfight against "Der Henkel." The Planet review Delcourt provides a more (The Planet +): Summer 1940. The Royal Air Force is the last hope to repel the advancing Nazi Europe, and most powerful armada flying the world. Thus began three months of aerial duels who see compete legendary aircraft: the Supermarine Spitfire, Hawker Hurricane and the Messerschmitt 109 ... It is within this framework that runs Lady Spitfire which provided tome 3 early 2013.
