The Box

What is the common thread between an exotic dancer and a 4000-year-old box covered with strange symbols? The American secret services have not found her any other name than BOX. On the side of the Russian FSB, no name but a fierce determination not to let it fall into the hands of anyone as proved by the destruction of this Ukrainian cargo ship in the Barentz Sea. Nuclear weapon ? Bacteriological weapon? Why BOX takes life and sometimes makes it? What really is this wooden box cut in the trunk of a cedar over 4000 years ago? Are we even able to read the Sumerian cuneiform symbols to which are added Egyptian hieroglyphics and Aramaic inscriptions? And all that chiselled in successive layers, as if one had wanted to update and make understandable the original warnings. BOX conceals a terrible power that could well change the face of the world.

Red Ears

Red Ears (Dutch: Rode Oortjes, French: Blagues Coquines) is a Belgian adult comic book series launched by Dany in 1990. He started with commercial drawings and then moved on to comics. The series is published by Joker Editions. The books consist of several one-page-long gag-a-day comics, sometimes gag cartoons too, about women and men in erotic situations, usually nude or almost nude. It can be classified as dirty jokes, black comedy and soft pornography. As of 2012, 25 books have been published in the series by various cartoonists and script writers. Dany drew the first six books under the name "Ca vous intéresse?" ("Are you interested?"). The series has no recurring characters.

Grandville

Grandville is a Hugo Award nominated British graphic novel series written and drawn by Bryan Talbot. It is a mixture of the steampunk, alternative history and thriller genres. It is set in a world in which France won the Napoleonic Wars and invaded Britain, and in which the world is populated mostly by anthropomorphic animals. The main character is Detective Inspector Archibald "Archie" LeBrock of Scotland Yard, a British anthropomorphic badger.

The plot of the first book, entitled Grandville and published on 15 October 2009, sees LeBrock investigating a murder which leads him to visit "Grandville" (Paris) in order to solve the crime, which itself leads him to uncover a political conspiracy. In the second volume, Grandville Mon Amour, published on 2 December 2010, LeBrock attempts to track down an escaped serial killer that he previously brought to justice. Grandville Bête Noire was published in 2012. The fourth volume, Grandville: Nöel, was published on 6 November 2014. A fifth volume, Grandville: Force Majeure, is planned.

Notre Dame

With the day of fools, and Robin Recht Jean Bastide are betting dared to appropriate Notre Dame de Paris. But why take the risk of attacking a monument of French literature, except the desire to share a rare work? 

While respecting the framework of the original manuscript, the two authors allow themselves variations which make all the flavor of their adaptation. 

This album has the appearance of fresh, colorful, refreshing fruit, in which it is a pleasure to crunch. Taking the first two books of the historical novel, Robin Recht makes this story a moment of celebration and laughter, despite the ambient dramaturgy. Comedy and even the burlesque are never very far in the succession of events that punctuate the path of Pierre Gringoire towards the Court of Miracles where he will finish the rope around his neck, but in a beautiful way!

Freaks' Squeele

Freaks' Squeele (Frics scouile) is a suite of comics, whose scenarist and artist is Florent Maudoux. Chance, Xiong Mao and Ombre are three students enrolled in the Academical Studies of the Hero Faculty (ASHF), one of the super heroes academy.

Between strategy lessons and personal branding homework, they will encounter many difficulties with the head of their faculty, fellow students and students from other universities. After housing problems, they decided to live together in a tower of the campus.

Siberia 56

Trapped on a planet millions of light years away from Earth, five scientists must survive sub-zero temperatures and horrific alien creatures as they make their way across the dead, frozen landscape to their base in this action-packed graphic novel. Persepolis

Persepolis is a graphic autobiography by Marjane Satrapi depicting her childhood up to her early adult years in Iran during and after the Islamic revolution. The title is a reference to the ancient capital of the Persian Empire, Persepolis. Newsweek ranked the book #5 on its list of the ten best non-fiction books of the decade. Originally published in French, it has been translated into several languages including English.

French comics publisher L'Association published the original work in four volumes between 2000 and 2003. Pantheon Books (North America) and Jonathan Cape (United Kingdom) published the English translations in two volumes, in 2003 and 2004, respectively. Omnibus editions in French and English alike followed in 2007, coinciding with the theatrical release of the film adaptation.Satrapi and comic artist Vincent Paronnaud co-directed the derived animation movie, which is also called Persepolis. Although the film emulates Satrapi's visual style of high-contrast inking, a present-day frame story is rendered in color. In the United States, Persepolis was nominated for Best Animated Feature at the 2007 Academy Awards.
