Magic 01 - The Girl with Purple Hair (Europe Comics 2021)

A baby girl born with purple hair is promptly handed over to a convent by her horrified father, who fears she bears the sign of the witch. And indeed, little Evelyn seems to have strange powers and to attract supernatural manifestations as she grows up among the nuns, who patiently put up with it as best they can. But after one scary “trick” too many, she is entrusted to the care of a hat-maker, who whisks her off to London, where she will learn about much more than making hats! For as Evelyn and her talking cat Benedict will soon find out, Master Neil has a few tricks up his sleeve, too, and his hat shop might not be exactly what it seems…

What I Did (2018)

This is a collection of three of the acclaimed cartoonist's earliest graphic novels, which are about Scandinavian mysteries, childhood stunts gone wrong, and much more. Three classic Jason volumes in one omnibus!

Wannsee (2018)

Berlin, district of Wannsee, January 20, 1942. A conference brings together fifteen senior officials of the Third Reich and the SS around A. Eichmann and R. Heydrich. A closed camera on the meeting during which the Holocaust was organized highlights conflicts of interest and power struggles within the Nazi state apparatus. With a historical record.

Love is Just Another Kind of Hate (2017)

William is a little talented child. Abelard, on the other hand, has extraordinary intellectual abilities. But he can not go to school: Blacks are not accepted. Between the two children, a pact is sealed. Abe will help William with his homework, and he will always find work for him. William climbs all levels of local society, starting his own business in which Abe, the handyman, makes the decisions in the shadows. Will William decide to give Abe the place he deserves, to place a "negro" in his chair? Can a child's friendship, strong as it is, survive such tensions?

Grimfish 001 (2015)

A World of Hurt. After many lonely years of traveling through space, Fish decides to find solid ground on an outer rim planet. Here, a small group of mech pilots take a special interest in procuring his ship for their own. When one of these mechs mysteriously turns on its own pilot, Fish becomes dead center of a story much bigger than he could have anticipated.

If You Steal (2015)

Jason’s latest collection indulges his light and playful side, consisting of eleven wildly off-kilter stories that mix incongruous elements of pop culture and a variety of genres, pastiches and mash-ups in a delightful brick of elegant graphic storytelling. Frida Kahlo is a hired killer. Santo, the Mexican wrestling film star, faces his ultimate challenge. The rise and fall of Chet Baker—told in six pages. Night of the Vampire Hunter. The last word on the JFK assassination conspiracies. A non-linear heist story that also somehow includes images by Magritte. A big bug story based on 1950s black-and-white films. And what would Van Morrison’s Moondance album look like if it were a horror comic? All as foretold by Nostradamus, of course. And all told by Jason, whose sly and elusive meanings are hidden beneath a beguilingly deadpan style.

Leaf (2015)

Story and rat by Daishu Ma. In this wordless, all-ages graphic novel, a man discovers a leaf that radiates a vibrant light, thus beginning a quest. Unfolding at a dream-like pace and drawn in a delicate style reminiscent of Shaun Tan's The Arrival and Chris Van Allsburg's Jumanji, Leaf is ultimately a hopeful vision of the coexistence of the urban and natural worlds.

Jason Conquers America
