The Marvelous Adventures of McConey

Maggy Garrisson

Dungeon

Dungeon (French title: Donjon) is a series of comic fantasy comic books created by Joann Sfar and Lewis Trondheim, with contributions from numerous other artists. It was originally published in France by Delcourt as a series of graphic albums; English translations of the first several stories have been released by NBM Publishing, first in a black-and-white periodical version and now as several color graphic novels.

The series is a parody of sword and sorcery conventions in general, and specifically of the role-playing game Dungeons and Dragons. All of the characters are either anthropomorphic animals or other strange creatures. The "dungeon" of the title is, in the original series, a business establishment run by a mild-mannered chicken, where heroes come in search of adventure and treasure and invariably die. The timeline in the main continuity is described as the stages of day; the series that lead up to the dungeon's creation are described in the Potron-Minet (Dawn) segment, the castle's glory days are described as its Zénith, and its inevitable decay is described in the Crépuscule (Twilight) stories.

Little Nothings

A handful of autobiographical anecdotes that show an intimate and child, tender sometimes irritating Trondheim. Comfortable in his dual role of author and character, fun forcing identifying each other, and make a fun patoso hypochondriac in line with the best Woody Allen. Cartoons in this book are playing to the closeness and identification by the reader through the simple mechanism of irony and learn to laugh at yourself. The author implicitly recognizes that his life is happy She lives surrounded by family and friends, working on what he likes, has achieved success internationally, but as good pessimistic or optimistic knowledgeable, as some say, can not help but live with suspicion of who portends a coming disaster. Live, then, a happiness restless. Part of grace, of course, is that often we recognize our paranoia in his paranoia. And while, realize that perhaps we are also happy. Little Nothings.

Unhappy gardener (he unintentionally cut off any green plant from his hands), hypochondriac traveler (during a stay in Reunion chikungunya emerged), father disoriented (Alien deeply miss his son when he should be blown away), Lewis Trondheim faces a life full of unexpected, it transforms into small snapshots.

The Cosmonauts of the future

The Cosmonauts of the future is a series of cartoon comedy, scripted by Lewis Trondheim and illustrated by Emmanuel Larcenet . The color development is carried out by Brigitte Findakly . Albums are published at Dargaud in the collection Poisson Pilote. 

Two children, a girl named Martina and a boy named Gildas, are persuaded to live in a world full of robots and aliens of all kinds. In both (along with Gaëlle, the little sister a little naive Gildas) they will try to uncover the mysterious conspiracy that hovers over the Earth. The 6 June 2008, Emmanuel Larcenet launches on YouTube that looks like an excerpt from a pilot episode of an adaptation of the comic cartoon .
