Current day kids Annie and Nico travel back to―ancient Egypt. That's about 4,500 years ago, when the world's largest pyramid was built, The Great Pyramid of Giza. It's also called the Pyramid of Cheops because it was built for the Pharaoh Cheops, who wanted to be buried in it when he died. That's right―pyramids are giant tombs! It was the first of seven buildings known as The Seven Ancient Wonders of the World―and it's the only one still standing! On the History Trail with Ariane & Nino

This is an educational collection for young readers interested in history. Starting out with a real‐life situation (such as a snowball fight in the yard), Ariane and her little brother Nino get talking about historical subjects. Each subject is covered in 32 panels, followed by educational appendices to complete the discussion (portraits of historical figures, maps, timelines, etc). Marzi

Thanks to that, lots of people got jobs, like my dad.” Born in 1979, Marzi is a 7-year-old Polish girl who looks wide-eyed at the world around her: her parents, her family, her school friends and the crabby women at the grocery store who don’t even smile for a fruit delivery. Marzi lives on a council estate in an industrial town, and is a cheerful, carefree, mischievous and perceptive little girl, bound to run into many adventures! Nomad

Nomad is an Arrouan. One being with the power to penetrate into the memories of the most sophisticated computers. Confiscated, trained, educated by the US secret services, it has become a formidable weapon. With his gifts, no secrets can not be preserved, no more hidden information. During a mission Arrouan, through the memory of a computer, collects the call of his people, the Tuareg. Therefore, it will do everything to reach his own. But the Nomad is an "object" too valuable to be allowed to escape. As for Arrouan he knows nothing about the rough and rugged life of Blue Men. Because the desert has become a place where the fiercest guerrilla rampant.
