Marc Lebut (Ford T)

Marc Lebut and his neighbor also known as the Ford T is a series of comic French-Belgian comedy created by the designer Francis and writer Maurice Tillieux in no. 1452 of the newspaper Spirou. On the death of the latter in 1978 , Francis will continue alone the series. Published by Dupuis in 1968, it was abandoned by the same publishing house in 1980 before being taken up by Éditions Récréabull in 1986 for a final album with Lucien Froidebise in the screenplay.

The Killer

The Killer (Le Tueur) is a French comic book by writer Matz and artist Luc Jacamon which follows the life of an unnamed assassin. The series was published in twelve albums by Casterman. It was translated into English and published by Archaia Studios Press, who turned each album into two comic books.

This is the autobiography of a professional killer. A solitary and cold man, methodical and conscientious, who does not bother with scruples or regrets. We share his thoughts, we get to know him and we discover his life through many flashbacks, we listen to his monologue, we get accustomed to his implacable lonely logic and we would almost take sympathy for him.

Moebius 3 - The Airtight Garage

The Airtight Garage (French: Le Garage Hermétique or, in its earliest serialized form, Le Garage Hermétique de Jerry Cornelius) is a lengthy comic strip work by the artist and writer Moebius (real name Jean Giraud). It first appeared in discrete two-to-four-page episodes, in issues 6 through 41 of the Franco-Belgian comics magazine Métal Hurlant from 1976 to 1979, and later in the American version of the same magazine, Heavy Metal, starting in 1977. It was subsequently collected as a graphic novel in various editions.

Moebius 4 - The Long Tomorrow

"The Long Tomorrow" is the title of a short story comic written by Dan O'Bannon in 1975, and illustrated by Moebius. The comic came to the attention of Ridley Scott and was a key visual reference for Blade Runner. The main character was the key fashion adopted by The Prodigy for their song "Firestarter". George Lucas directly copied the launchpad sentinel for the look of the probe droid in The Empire Strikes Back, completely preserving Moebius' original design. The reference to Ridley Scott and George Lucas is documented in the Foreword passage in "The Long Tomorrow".

Moebius 5 - Gardens of Aedena

Le Monde d'Edena ("The World of Edena," published in English as The Aedena Cycle) is a series of graphic novels by French artist Moebius. It grew organically out of a promotional album Moebius made for the French car manufacturer Citroën, called "The Star", in 1983.

Onyx Overlord

Onyx Overlord is a four-issue mini-series that takes place on an asteroid which holds alternate dimensions in the same place and at the same time. The place is called the Airtight Garage and was created by the mysterious Major Grubert. Grubert keeps tabs on his dimensions from his spaceship, the Ciguri. When an alien presence threatens the Airtight Garage, Grubert employs the help of his Fractal Police squad. The squad, led a man named Dalxtrey, joins forces with a professional tracker named Finnegan. Finnegan is a tough woman who can hold her own in battle and then some. They’ll need all the skills they can muster to combat their arch enemy, a gigantic black figure named the Onyx Overlord. This series was created by comic legend, Moebius, with scripts by R.J.M. Lofficier and art by Jerry Bingham.

Moebius 1 - Upon a Star

Moebius: Volume 1 collects the original story, “The Star,” along with a retro fitted prequel, “The Repairmen” and two periphery stories, “Adena” and “Celestial Venice.” The actual Adena cycle is then continued in the 5th and 7th volume of this particular series, which are segmented by other Moebius series. Reading the Star, along with the three other supplemental stories, gives the foundation as well as the incidental support into the universe that houses Adena. For anyone familiar with the work of Moebius, the Adena Cycle marked a change in his style, favoring near weightless simplicity for detail. This change gives The Star a unique character and helps it succeed as a story.

Moebius 2 - Arzach

Arzach (French: [aʁzak]) is a comic book collection of four wordless short stories by artist/author Jean 'Moebius' Giraud, which were originally published in the French sci-fi/fantasy comics magazine Métal Hurlant. The stories follow Arzach, a silent warrior who rides a pterodactyl-like creature through a strange, desolate landscape. The imagery and situations in Arzach are often compared to dreams or the subconscious. These stories had an enormous impact on the French comics industry, and the Arzach character is still among Moebius' most famous creations. It can be defined as a pantomime comic, fantasy comics or an experimental comic.

The Elsewhere Prince

The Elsewhere Prince is just one of many series published by Epic about Moebius’ Airtight Garage. The series takes place on an asteroid which holds alternate dimensions in the same place and at the same time. The place is called the Airtight Garage and was created by a character named Major Grubert who keeps tabs on his dimensions from his spaceship, the Ciguri.

In The Elsewhere Prince, a young artist joins a traveling band of mercenaries. After stopping for an evening in a small village, the group adds another member to the group, a young boy who wants to be a warrior. The men are all killed, in a horrible battle with a beetle-like creature called a Jouk. The rest of the series chronicles the adventures of the surviving two members of the traveling party, the artist, and upstart warrior. R.J.M. Lofficier wrote,while Eric Shanower handled the penciling.

Franquins Black Ideas (2003)

Funy dark humor, from André Franquin (3 January 1924 – 5 January 1997) was an influential Belgian comics artist, whose best known comic strip creations are Gaston and Marsupilami, created while he worked on the Spirou et Fantasio comic strip from 1947 to 1969.
