Achille Talon is a Franco-Belgian comics series created by Greg (the pseudonym of Michel Regnier). Out of 46 (43 +3 post Greg era) comics, only one (#16 - Le Trésor de Virgule (1977)) was published in English as Magnesia's Treasure in 1981. Walter Melon, a walking, talking encyclopedia, was born to solve any problem conceivable! In this adventure, Melon heads into the dark jungle to face perilous dangers and discover the location of a lost diamond mine.

The child is the result of a drunken roll in the hay the mother has after a fight with her family. Filled with shame and guilt, the mother is incapable of showing the child love and affection. Her father, the boy’s grandfather, sees the boy as the son he never had and the heir to his fortune. He takes care of the boy and the bond between the two grows very strong.
