You doing a great job collecting all that great comics and sharing but every click shows advertisement and it is such a pain before enjoyment of a great read. It there any other (free) way to download faster and with less ads?

I personally use JDownloader : http://jdownloader.org/
It's a download manager. This way, you only have to make a Ctrl+C on the link, it's automatically imported into the tool, and then you click on start and the tool takes care of the rest.
This way, you avoid most (not all) of the advertisement.
