The magazine "Strip", in which the story "The Labyrinth of Death" of The fantastic Storm series by Don Lawrence was published. This is a copy of the Strip Magazine #14 (1990) that features an interview + pictures of Don Lawrence at work.

Modern Speed (2017)

Script by Blutch - Art by Blutch. Modern-day Paris. One night, as she’s leaving rehearsal, Lola, a young dancer, is approached by Renée. She introduces herself as a writer, and asks Lola if she could share her life for a while in order to gather material to write a book about her. Despite not feeling entirely comfortable with the idea, Lola accepts. The very next day, Lola and Renée experience the strangest day of their lives, involving an absent father who reappears at random points throughout the book, a bashful but psychopathic admirer, Omar Shariff, and a huge spider… All this is set against a backdrop of a general power cut, a highly demanding dance class and a very rainy day. In the world of today, where everything goes too quickly, twenty-four hours is sometimes enough to change your life.

Geronimo (2017)

1850, Northern Mexico. On the ancestral lands of the Apaches, yet another massacre. A camp is attacked by Mexican soldiers. Among the victims, the woman, the three children and the mother of a young medicine man renowned for his science and his premonitions: Goyahkla, "the one who yawns". Thirsty for revenge, Goyahkla reunites the various Apache tribes to avenge the village where the massacre took place. The great chefs Cochise, Juh, Mangas Coloradas follow him. In the Homeric fight that will follow, Goyahkla will illustrate himself, win the rank of warrior and a new name: Geronimo. Because the Mexican survivors fleeing invoked St. Jerome. But if Geronimo decided to dedicate his life to revenge on the Mexicans, the arrival of the whites will upset everything. The Apaches have to face an even more numerous and more dangerous enemy, which Geronimo will begin to underestimate. It is a desperate struggle, that Geronimo will lead to the limit of his forces and those of his own, elusive for the US Army. Geronimo was the proverbial Indian, living in communion with nature. He was the repository of the ancestral customs of the Apaches, knew his territory better than anyone, the last free Indian.

Face de Lune vol 01

In 1992, Face de Lune began with the invisible cathedral. A series as only Alexandro Jodorowsky has the secret. A complex universe dominated by oppressive and omnipresent politico-religious powers. A dense story, with multiple ramifications. His collaboration with the gifted François Boucq is the icing on the cake. Whatever the scene, his drawing does not seem to know limits and when you know the imagination overflowing Jodorowsky, we can only say that they are well! In short, a first volume promising, quickly more!

The Daring Brigade (Romania)

(Brigada indraznetilor) The band with Beatlesi as welders (with guitar with everything!), Brigadier bosses that bring Iusuf (from the rookies of Michael the Brave) and a beautiful girl, like ... "Meeting in space"? The subject, clearly, dictated by the dark times. After the heavy winter of '84 began the darkest phase of communism in Romania: current breaks, TV program 2 hours a day, naked food and so on.

Storm

Storm is a soft science fiction/fantasy comic book series originally (and for most albums) drawn by Don Lawrence. The series is primarily available in Dutch, although all the books are translated in English and German, and some in French, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese, Polish, Danish, Finnish, Greek, Croatian, Serbian, Bosnian and Indonesian. The books are published by Big Balloon, Uitgeverij Oberon (both Dutch), Egmont Ehapa Verlag, Norbert Hethke Verlag (both German), Star Comics and Esperos Comics (both Greek), Incal (Polish), and Glénat (French). English copies are published in the Don Lawrence collection. The Living Planetand The Slayer of Eriban were also published in Heavy Metal magazine in January 1997 and March 1999. The Navel of the Double God had an early publication in the Dutch magazine Myx. 

The actual series can be split in two parts: The Chronicles of the Deep World, which takes place on post-apocalyptical Earth, and The Chronicles of Pandarve, taking place in the Pandarve multiverse. Three years after Don Lawrence died, a new team continued his work. Martin Lodewijk maintained the writer role, while Romano Molenaarand Jorg De Vos were selected as artists. Their first album The Navel of the Double God (De Navel van de Dubbele God) has been available since September 6, 2007 in Dutch. Storm 23 has already been reprinted and has given Storm a renewed international interest. The next album, titled Marduk's Springs, was released in February 2009. Since July 2008 there has been a second team working on Storm: Minck Oosterveer as artist and Willem Ritstier as writer. Their first album will was called The Exile of Thoem.

Trigan Empire

The Rise and Fall of the Trigan Empire, later called simply The Trigan Empire was a science fiction comic series written mainly by Mike Butterworth and most notably drawn by Don Lawrence. It told the story of an alien culture that contained an educational blend of science and Earth-like ancient civilizations. The strip first appeared in the first issue of the British magazine Ranger in September 1965 and then in the British Look and Learn magazine from issue 232 (June 1966) when the two titles merged after the 40th issue of Ranger. Both titles were weekly educational magazines designed for young people; although mainly filled with articles on life, history, science and technology, both contained a small comic strip section in each issue.

The series ran in Look and Learn until the title ceased publication with issue 1049, April 1982, an extraordinary run of 854 issues between the two magazines. There were a number of early reprints. In the United Kingdom, Hamlyn Publishing printed one book called simply, "The Trigan Empire", this was printed in the United States by Chartwell Publishing. This edition featured early stories. A later book was printed by Hawk Publishing in 1989 as Tales of the Trigan Empire in hardback form. Both the Hamlyn and Hawk books have parts cut from some of the original stories, most notably in the Hawk book there are sometimes entire pages that have been taken out. In recent years, the parts of the Trigan Empire that were drawn by Don Lawrence have been reprinted by the Don Lawrence Collection in luxury hardback limited editions. These editions have the stories as originally printed without any of the frames that were missing in some of the other reprints, notably the Hawk publications book. They are not direct copies of the Look and Learn prints, but in many cases are taken from the original artwork and use revised fonts to make them easier to read.
