A vulgar piece of metal discovered during an archaeological dig in Egypt. Yet it is a piece of a complicated puzzle. Some say that this metal is older than our solar system. The one who successfully reconstruct the original object would be invested with unlimited power. The only listed eutre piece is encrusted in a mythical object: the spear of Longinus. The Spear of Christ. But the one found in the museum of Hofburg in Vienna is a copy. The real spear disappeared at an unknown time in history.

Medea

Europe late 1930. The Nazis took power in Germany, Mussolini's reign in Italy; Threats are piling on top of people, fed by resentment of history. It is in these circumstances that two men of power - a powerful bishop of the Vatican City on one hand, and the Gestapo chief Reinhard Heydrich other - go in search of a priceless document: the legendary codex written at the beginning of our era by Judas Iscariot, then fleeing after, says the chronicle, met Medea, dreaded mythical magician and guardian of the fabled golden Fleece. But when the fatal Kristallnacht in Germany, it is precisely the same Medea, gifted talent of ubiquity, which saves the famous codex of a Jewish shop in flames. 

Co-signed by a tandem of Casterman authors newcomers, and nurtured a genuine passion for the esoteric, here are the modern adventures of Medea, one of the most striking figures from ancient mythology. Incarnation of magic, but most of infanticide (killing it with his own hands the two children she had with Jason, to punish it for having divorced), she now sleep through the centuries, so that such a tragedy does not happen again.
