Wonderball

Nine dead, nine seconds, just one shooter: an investigation with a strong sense of "deja vu" for Inspector Wonderball, San Francisco's most maligned cop. A comic by Fred Blanchard and Colin Wilson. San Francisco, 1983. A spree killer kills 9 people on a busy street from a rooftop. Inspector Spaddaccini, nicknamed Wonderball by his colleagues because he eats candy all day, is responsible for the investigation. The speed of the killer reminds him of an event which marked his career: the Kennedy assassination.
Being forced leave pending the results of the internal investigation into the death of the "Hunter" Wonderball attends the funeral of his friend Bob Archer. There he is approached by a mysterious individual claiming to know the relationship between the Invisible College and the death of Archer. These revelations lead Wonderball in the footsteps of his past as well as tombs carved into the Nevada desert.

D-Day

This epic comic was created by Jean-Pierre Pecau, Fred Duval and Fred Blanchard. Published by Delcourt.

THE CONCEPT
What if history had taken a different course than the one we know? What if the Russians had succeeded in landing on the moon before the Americans? What if the epicentre of the cold war had been Paris, and not Berlin? What if the assassination in Dallas had happened in 1973, and not in 1963? What if the Germans had won the First World War? What if imagination had taken power in May 68? What if the anarchists had overthrown Tsar Nicolas II in 1917? All these stories, based on historical facts and realistic assumptions allow us to discover the consequences of one day where everything changes: D-DAY.

THE ALBUM
October 1962, the Cuban missile crisis kicked off a three day war which saw the USSR annihilated and the USA crippled. Several years later, the two remaining nuclear powers, Great Britain and France, decide to intervene to guarantee the territorial integrity of the former United States, threatened by Mexico...

THE HERO
Georges-Émile Crenn, para officer, was part of the first contingent of UN troops to land at Guantanamo Bay in Cuba after the War of 10,000 Suns. He will be marked by this experience to the end of his days. When the Anglo-French expeditionary force reaches the shores of Texas, little does he suspect that a very dangerous mission will lead him to jump into a nest of vipers and Titan missiles...
