Front Lines

Front Lines is as a new series concept (close to publications) dedicated - commemorative year oblige - the Second World War. This inaugural episode is divided into two parts of equal size. In the first half, screenwriter Jean-Pierre Pécau presents and implements the six players who will experience adventures moult over the four volumes announced.
Four athletes, a journalist, a Communist: we will follow their acts of bravery, their friendships and their love throughout the Second World War. The second part proposes to follow one of them, Emile Berger, alias Snowy, who throne cover with a false air of Sylvester Stalone, while his personality "slinger big heart" actually confuses more willingly with that of Lino Ventura. It falls to about a nice editorial blunder: his name Berger throughout the album, but Soubise in 4th cover. This second sequence is interested in the first weeks of war, focusing on the commitment of the cyclist on a tank in the town of Stonne Ardennes, where the fighting is. Good news without losing his scholarship, Pécau is more fluid than ever narratively. The design of this first volume has meanwhile been given to Serbian illustrator, Brada, for realistic graphic score serious though impersonal, near Kordey style, to reassure fans Pécau. Hopefully the designer Benoît Dellac manage to restore the features - and therefore the psychology of six characters - to ensure continuity in the second part, already released in early June 2014.

Arcane

Arcane is a series of French comic . Two other series are derived: Major Arcana and The Secret History. Script: Jean-Pierre Pécau. Drawings: Frédéric Campoy (Volume 1), Roland Pignault (Volume 2), Bojan Kovačević (volumes 3-5), Dejan Nenadov (volumes 6-10).
Walter Duncan and teammate Miss Mood are part of a government organization called Stargate. Establishment in the early 1990s, she recruits "players", men and women can influence luck, and therefore the future through cards called Arcana resembling those of a play tarot . In their hands, they have the power to manipulate chance with a dependent scope of the faculties of the manipulator. Thus, there Stargate ranks ranging from the traditional tarot figures to the figures (eg Walter is a rider, that is to say a senior rank). Vane descendant of the Foundation and the Magic committee, Stargate is more focused on the use of cards as their origin and their powers. To this end, it sends its players around the world to complete missions where the odds of success are extremely low and the probability of dying extremely high.

The Great Game

The Great Game is a series of alternate history and science fiction comic. Script: Jean-Pierre Pécau.

In 1945, the Soviets are outside Berlin; in Paris, following the demise of the airship Charles de Gaulle above the north pole, the reporter Nestor Serge, a former pilot of war, finds himself involved in a mission in the heart of Germany in war, involving secret projects and occult phenomena.
In subsequent volumes, it is continuing its investigation into French Indochina, then in Algeria.
1945. The Second World War has been over for 4 years. It resulted in the Allied victory and the separate peace with Nazi Germany. While time is vis-à-vis distrust of the Soviet Union, Charles de Gaulle, flagship of the airship fleet of Air France, disappeared somewhere in northern Greenland. The reporter Nestor Serge, of France Soir, is responsible for supporting the relief expedition.
The expedition to the rescue of the airship "Charles de Gaulle", disappeared north of Greenland, is underway with on board Nestor Serge. Angus McPherson, a Scottish officer, support it and prepare their entry into the restricted zone. In Reykjavik, the first strange phenomena are emerging. Intended to obstruct relief, they will expand to approach the site of the disaster. Nazis, creatures from another world, the one mentioned by some HP Lovecraft, or the téléguidant each other? Jean-Pierre Pécaud fond of strange phenomena. So naturally sprinkled the story of a few pinches of the wildest nightmares Howard Philips Lovecraft.

The Secret History

The Secret History is a series of French comic derivative from the Arcane series , also published by Delcourt. 32 volumes are planned. Authors: Script by: Jean-Pierre Pécau. Drawings: Igor Kordey (Volumes 1, 2 and 6-32), Goran Sudzuka and Geto (Volume 3), Leo Pilipovic (volumes 4 and 5)
Colours: Carole Beau (volumes 1 to 7), Isabelle Rabarot (volumes 3 and 6), Fabrys (volumes 5 and 7), Chris Chucky (volumes 8-11), Leonard O'Grady (volumes 12-32).
The scenario offers a rereading of the history of humanity in the light of the theory of a "magical plot" in which four and five magicians (also called archons) sometimes clash and sometimes share control of 'humanity. Since prehistory, they hatched in the shadows to guide decisions of great historical figures who are, quite often, their puppets. The principle at the base of their magic is "retro-synchronicity", thanks to which they can, with inspired cards tarot (arcana), see the possibilities of the immediate or distant future and influence to more favorable probabilities according to their interests of the moment. The scope of the vision and the shift depends on the power and talent of the manipulator, but wilts over time. These 'passes' allow them to change the course of events and illuminate new light on several authentic episodes of history, which are still poorly explained today: the ten plagues of Egypt, the Holy Grail, the many Win Napoleon, the great fire of London, the meteoric rise of Nazism, etc. This database is the start of a scenario of some complexity. Nothing is simple, and the information given to readers in dribs and drabs. The series, created retrospectively, leads to two other series (Arcana and Major Arcana) exploiting the events of recent history.

D-Day

This epic comic was created by Jean-Pierre Pecau, Fred Duval and Fred Blanchard. Published by Delcourt.

THE CONCEPT
What if history had taken a different course than the one we know? What if the Russians had succeeded in landing on the moon before the Americans? What if the epicentre of the cold war had been Paris, and not Berlin? What if the assassination in Dallas had happened in 1973, and not in 1963? What if the Germans had won the First World War? What if imagination had taken power in May 68? What if the anarchists had overthrown Tsar Nicolas II in 1917? All these stories, based on historical facts and realistic assumptions allow us to discover the consequences of one day where everything changes: D-DAY.

THE ALBUM
October 1962, the Cuban missile crisis kicked off a three day war which saw the USSR annihilated and the USA crippled. Several years later, the two remaining nuclear powers, Great Britain and France, decide to intervene to guarantee the territorial integrity of the former United States, threatened by Mexico...

THE HERO
Georges-Émile Crenn, para officer, was part of the first contingent of UN troops to land at Guantanamo Bay in Cuba after the War of 10,000 Suns. He will be marked by this experience to the end of his days. When the Anglo-French expeditionary force reaches the shores of Texas, little does he suspect that a very dangerous mission will lead him to jump into a nest of vipers and Titan missiles...
