The 4 Aces is a series of six novels for the youth of Georges Chaulet published from 1957 to 1962 published by Casterman. They stage four teenagers and a dog living adventures.
From 1964, the series is published as a comic book published by Casterman Editions. The script is provided by Georges Chaulet and drawing by François Craenhals. The success of the comic quickly outnumber novels. The fortieth volume in 2003 is carried out by Craenhals alone, who says the following drawing to Jacques Debruyne. After the death of Craenhals in 2004 Chaulet writes one last story before giving up definitively the series. The recovery by screenwriter Sergio Salma and designer Alain Maury in 2007 will know that volume.
