Taar, is a heroic fantasy comic character, which in 1976 by the author Claude Moliterni and draftsman Jaime Brocal Remohí was created.
The French Dargaud published twelve-volume series albums. The first ten albums were in Germany in the series The major Phantastic comics published by the Delta Verlag, a cooperation of Ehapa and Dargaud.
