Jon Rohner (2019)

The end of the 19th century, the twilight of sailing ships, and the picturesque islands of the South Pacific, are the setting for these history-laced adventures. Jon Rohner, a likeable sailor who lives on the edge of the law, tells his stories to Robert Louis Stevenson -- the famed author of such classics as Treasure Island and Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde -- who has settled on the Samoa islands and befriended Rohner. Through Rohner's stories we are taken into a world full of excitement, action and drama: from his kidnapping a princess to prevent a war between two tribes; to a story about a man who fell in love with a cannibal queen, left his family and got tattooed over his whole body and face; to Rohner's surviving a tsunami and volcano eruption. Mechanical Land

It is the party aboard the Mekaton: disguised as it should, the little Bruno and his mother, Edmee, go to the ballroom to join the rest of the guests. Bruno is in a bad mood. First of all, he does not like the costume his mother gave him. In addition, he finds all these people perfectly morons and can not bear to see them party like that every night. Suddenly, a great agitation: someone is chased. 

This is Phileon, a funny rhino who decided to leave the ship to go ashore. Philéon, accused by "the authorities" of carrying a dangerous virus, hides in the cabin of Edmee and Bruno. Accomplished in spite of themselves, will they decide to flee with Philéon and to attempt the adventure of which no one has hitherto ever returned? Mechanical Land. Wendigo

In the endless night of a Canadian winter, Malemute Kid, a trapper, collects a man frozen as snow. The unknown is not dead but is still and silent. Only Sookmu, tamed the wolf seems to hear his mute appeal and agrees to follow him to the end of the night. Kid and Elam are two trappers who winter in a cottage in the heart of the Yukon lost. One morning their Sookmu dog brings their body of a man almost died. Against all odds, it survived the bitter cold of the night in the Yukon. The man, however, refused all food. Kid decides to take him to Fort Yukon, where he hopes that a priest friend manage to treat. But that's not counting the power of ancient beliefs.
