Lady Liberty

Secrets of state, espionage, plots and treasons, duels with swords and scathing retorts… The wind of change is going to lead Lady Liberty towards the thirteen colonies. American colonists dream about freedom, and she is going to bring them a Revolution. To avenge her mother, Lya of Beaumont swore to bring down the crowns of both Louis XVI and George III.
A wind of revolution starts to blow on the world – a wind that is going to inflate the sails of the "Sally Brown" and carry Lya, Lady Gage, and the schemer Beaumarchais towards Colonies.
America is in rebellion and has become a powder keg. A mere spark would make it explode. And Lya is this spark! Written by Jean-Luc Sala. Art by Aurore.

The Iron Divisions

1946: The War Begins! Iron Divisions mecha is a new warrior alternate history series featuring mecha giant Panzers. How the appearance of a new technology in 1944 will turn the tide of World War II and lead the Germans to victory. "Red Commando" is set to the opening of the album "Iron Divisions." On the eastern front, the last pockets of resistance to the Red Army fall one after the other. To save Moscow, General Zhukov meets the Red Commando. Bundled up in their armored and mechanized armor, the greatest heroes of the Red Army will participate in an operation last chance: to seize the best Nazi Mekapanzer and turn it against the German army. But in the Red Commando Zhukov commits perhaps a mistake by including Nia, the fiery idealist driver and a political fanatic Komissar brutal command. They will have to learn to fight side by side or to die! A comic by Jean-Luc Sala and Ronan Toulhoat.
With an exciting technology, Wehrmacht changed the course of the war. With huge mobile fortresses, Mékapanzers she is about to crush the Red Army. Already, the Soviet government in exile in Moscow and Alaska is threatened. To stop the offensive, it remains a last resort: form a commando in charge of seizing the Wilhelm Gustloff Mekapanzer, the largest and most powerful of the terrible Nazi gear. We have to find not only talented fighters, but also willing to give their lives to the country in a suicide operation, what the zealous political commissar Kirijin intends to ensure. Ronan Toulhoat seemed to take distance with the alternate history and World War II. Obviously he has cracked and seems to be very happy. Indeed, it is in their heart's content, enjoying the many fight sequences to play all his knowledge of the movement.

Spin Angels

Spin Angels, (or Cross Fire) Soleil Publishing, story by Jean-Luc Sala; art and colors by Pierre-Mony Chan. Each issue begins with a flashback to something that happened in the past. The first one starts in 1307, but the second and third much more recently, in 1939; the fourth, in 1959. However, the main story in each issue is set in the present. It follows the exploits of members of the Vatican's Black Office, which exists to "find and disarm any potential threats or revelations." Which basically means searching for historical texts and artifacts which could disprove the accepted history and doctrines of the Church. The Black Office is headed up by Monsignor Marchesi.
The story mainly focuses on his lead investigator, Sofia d'Agostino. In the first issue, her partner, Luigi, is killed, so Marchesi calls in a favor from an old friend, a mob boss named Costanza. He sends his nephew, Angelo, to serve as her bodyguard on her missions. In the second issue, they meet up with an old acquaintance of Angelo's, named Gina. Later, they meet up with another agent of the Black Office, Sister Anna. Anyway, apparently the Black Office is a modern-day survivor of the ancient Inquisition, but there is another survivor: the Knights of the Order of the House of Bethany. Which is apparently another name for the Knights Templar, I guess. Anyway, there's another secret organization within the Church, which is the enemy of both the Black Office and the Knights Templar, a group led by a mysterious figure known as the "Master," a figure who was seen briefly in the 1307 flashback of the first issue. If it really is the same guy, his age isn't the only thing mysterious about him, he also has some kind of powers, and it seems his followers may actually believe he's God.
