1565. Several renowned anatomists die in strange conditions. In Paris, Ambroise Paré, King surgeon stumbles doctors of the faculty, who see him as an upstart boor, says the death of one of them. 1565. The rebirth. The Art and Science are in turmoil, and the convent religious wars. But another battle in the shadows, has already begun. A battle that engages around the most mysterious objects, the most wonderful creations: the human body. In Paris, renowned doctors are found dead. Ambroise Paré, royal surgeon and pioneer of Medicine, investigates. He discovers that he is next on the list of creatures guard him. Mythical creatures, ranging question everything in which he believed. Resulted in a plot to exterminate an ancient brotherhood of doctors, Milkweed, Ambroise Pare is brought to reconsider its deepest convictions about the nature of the human body and medical methods. Accompanied by some fellow survivors and creatures that help, he went to Milan, where it all started, where the enemy is waiting impatiently.
