Murena

We are in ancient Rome. The emperor Claude attends gladiators fighting in the open environment of the arena, with the forlorn hope of surviving. In addition to these tragic events, others to foment plots in the shadows, with - eternal challenge, power. The action takes place in Rome a few days before the Ides of October. Emperor Claudius died poisoned by his wife, Agrippina, just before he repudiate Lolia Paulina to marry the mother of Murena. Nero the son of Agrippina, becomes emperor, despite having only 17 years.

Agrippina second wife of Claudius and mother of Nero wants to poison her husband before her husband repudiates to marry the mother of Lucius Murena. This power struggle will be bloody and ruthless.
