Cupidon

Cupidon is a Belgian comics series written by Raoul Cauvin and drawn by Malik. Cupidon made its debut in the Franco-Belgian comics magazine Spirou on October 5, 1988. To date 22 albums have been published by Dupuis.

Cupidon features short stories about the adventures of a little Putto attempting to bring love on earth. His headquarters are in Heaven and he is dispatched by a (hot-tempered) Saint Peter. With his bow and arrows, Cupidon is usually prone to blunders, bringing together people of contrasting personalities, even matching together animals not necessarily of the same species.

Boulouloum et Guiliguili

Lost Jungles is a series of comic French-Belgian of adventure Raoul Cauvin scenario and Mazel drawing created in no.1965 newspaper Spirou entitled Boulouloum and Guiliguili. The animal reserve is Kawangana victim of poachers who try to capture or kill the animals, fortunately Boulouloum sort of mini-Tarzan and Guiliguili strong gorilla protect the reserve.

Characters

• Boulouloum, is the hero of the series. Nicknamed Tarzan-miniature or mini-Tarzan is as brave as his idol. Later he called Kaloum .
• Guiliguili is a fierce gorilla that helps Boulouloum. Later he called Kong .
• Jo and Hary are two poachers who want to kill animals to make money.
• Pin-up is a girl who grew up in the middle of gorillas.
• Miss Stenvenson is a photographer.
• Mr. Jürgens is the leader of the band of traffickers.
• Baracca is the henchman of Mr. Jürgens.
• Kurt is the driver of the boat Mr. Jürgens.
• Chop-Suey is a Chinese cook.
• Pepe is a specialist in dynamite.

CRS = Distress

CRS = Distress is a series of police humor cartoon. Created by Scenario: Achdé (volumes 1 and 4), Erroc (volumes 2 and 3), Raoul Cauvin (volumes 8-13) and Drawing by: Achdé, Colours: David Lunven.

Eugene lacrymo is a member of CRS for 25 years, which does not always prevent smudging chain. Protesters and CRS are waging a struggle parody where claims are of secondary importance. Women in white

Les Femmes en blanc (Women in white) is a Belgian comics humor series of 33 volumes, for which the script was created by Raoul Cauvin and whose design was directed by Philippe Bercovici. Colours were done by Leonardo. The series debuted in 1981 in the Belgian comic book magazine Spirou and the first volume was released in 1986. The setting of the series is a field hospital. The series deals with the troubles of nurses in a humorous and sometimes ironic, sometimes comic fashion.

A series of short stories with a title are illustrated, and usually deal with some foible, with a medical problem or quirk. For example, in volume 29, the story a malin, malin et demi deals with a patient with nausea, vomiting, and dizziness. The nurse helps him to the bathroom and back. The toilet starts to run and the nurse calls a plumber to fix it. He discovers a bottle of booze in the tank, nearly empty. The nurse realizes that the patient is an alcoholic and has been going to the bathroom to drink and arranges to dry him out. The plumber then tells his incredulous wife at dinner. Over the volumes (whose titles contain puns), several characters appear regularly as the doctor or nurse Nathalie Minet or nurse Lisette.

Sammy

Sammy is a popular humour Belgian comics series. It first started in 1970 in the weekly comic Spirou magazine, it has been published in book form, and even been the subject of several omnibus editions by Dupuis. Raoul Cauvin wrote the series while artist Berck (aka Arthur Berckmans) drew the first thirty or so adventures before being succeeded by Jean-Pol (aka Jean-Pol Van Den Broeck).

Set mainly in 1920s Chicago, the series centres on freelance bodyguards Jack Attaway and his sidekick Sammy Day. Their assignments have them protecting people from all walks of life, from young children to celebrities, fighting gangsters both at home and abroad and even facing elements of fantasy and science-fiction. The real-life gangster Al Capone and his sworn enemy Eliot Ness of the "Untouchables" are also regular characters. Although occasionally violent, the emphasis of the series is on humour. The 40th book in the series was published in 2009 and it was announced that it would be Sammy's final adventure. The series is based in 1920s Chicago at the height of Prohibition. 

Jack Attaway runs a bodyguard agency with his sidekick Sammy Day and their adventures take them all over the world. Although their main (and rarely lucrative) activity is protecting people, the pair have occasionally worked with the police. Jack calls Sammy "p'tit" ("kid"), while Sammy addresses him as "patron" ("boss"), but they are close friends who stick by each other through thick and thin.
Their clients have varied from the average to the bizarre: ordinary people threatened by gangsters, movie stars, eccentric millionaires, mad scientists and even a 200-year-old skeleton back from the dead. Also requesting their help are actual crooks and gangsters like Al Capone or law-enforcers like Eliot Ness. The series has delved on a number of themes ranging from Hollywood to the Ku Klux Klan, the Mafia, espionage and protection rackets, and also more fantastic elements like robots, the undead and the elixir of youth.

Pierre Tombal

Pierre Tombal is a Belgian gag cartoon strip, drawn by Marc Hardy and with text by Raoul Cauvin, about a mortician and the dead people at his cemetery. The series is in syndication since 1983 and published in the Belgian magazine Spirou by Dupuis. A running gag is Pierre's rivalry with the preprietor of acrematory and a captain who favors burial at sea. In Dutch the series is published under the name G. Raf Zerk. In Spanish as Pedro Tumbas.

Pierre Tombal centers around an undertaker, Pierre Tombal (a pun on pierre tombal, gravestone in French), who owns a cemetery. He is able to talk to the dead people in his graveyard, which often freaks out visitors, especially when the corpses talk or react back. Pierre functions as a spokesperson, servant, aid and trustworthy guard on benefit of the people who are buried there. Many black comedy jokes are about the various ways his customers passed away or how they spent their daily lives at the graveyard. 

Agent 212

Agent 212 is the name of a humorous Belgian comic about a large police officer. The comic series is written by Raoul Cauvin, and drawn by Daniel Kox, and has been published in the Spirou/Robbedoes magazine since 1975. Dupuis has also published 26 comic books in French and Dutch featuring the caricature police officer. Agent 212 is currently one of the best selling series in French, with 66,000 copies for the 25th album in 2006 and it has currently 1 best of, 3 editions, and 28 main stories.

The first appearance of agent 212 was held in 1975 in the journal Spirou no.  1939. This is the origin of a series that was not to last, the designer Daniel Kox then trying to integrate the Studio Peyo. Until he meets, through Thierry Martens editor of Spirou, writer Raoul Cauvin gags offering him a scenario with a police officer, but the series will interest the public and will continue. Dupuis has then released 27 albums in this series in French and Dutch. In 1990, with the release of the album Rice, O Chicken author regained a gag appeared in Spirou magazine in 1981. The latter was not included in the album round the clock due to a too different graphics. The author, however, redesigned the two boards and created this story after the cover of 12 th album.

Bluecoats

The Bluecoats (or Francais: Les Tuniques Bleues) is a Belgian series of bandes dessinées (comic books in the Franco-Belgian tradition), first published in Spirou magazine and later collected in albums by Dupuis. Created by artist Louis Salverius and writer Raoul Cauvin, the series was taken up by artist Willy Lambillotte after Salverius' death. It follows two United States cavalrymen through a series of battles and adventures. 

The first album of the series was published in 1970. The series' name, Les Tuniques Bleues, literally "the bluecoats", refers to the Northern (union) army during the American Civil War. One English edition of the comic was published in 2004 as "The Blue Tunics: The Blues in Black and White" by Reney Editions. Since then Publisher Cinebook has started to print the comics in English as "The Bluecoats" releasing Robertson Prison in 2008. It is one of the best-selling series in French-language comics.

Spirou and Fantasio

Spirou et Fantasio (Spirou and Fantasio) is one of the most popular classic Franco-Belgian comics. The series, which has been running since 1938, shares many characteristics with other European humorous adventure comics like The Adventures of Tintin and Asterix. It has been written and drawn by a succession of artists. Drawing: Fournier - Franquin - Janry - Munuera - Nic - Roba - Yoann. Scenario: Cauvin - Fournier - Franquin - GREG - Morvan - Tome - Vehlmann - Yann.

Spirou and Fantasio are the series' main characters, two adventurous journalists who run into fantastic adventures, aided by Spirou's pet squirrel Spip and their inventor friend the Count of Champignac. If he kept his origins a striking red coat bellboy Spirou is an adventurer. Always accompanied by his friend Fantasio and Spip, his favorite squirrel, Spirou fight villains of all kinds around the world. Thus he will fight against the terrible evil scientist Zorglub or pirate John Helena, he will face Italian mafia and Chinese triads in New York or he'll break in Palombia the secret of a mythical animal: the Marsupilami. 

Cedric

Cedric is a Franco-Belgian comics series written by Raoul Cauvin, illustrated by Laudec Laudec and published by Dupuis in French and Cinebook in English. Since 1989, 23 albums have been published by Dupuis. Cédric is one of the most popular French language comics according to the list of best selling new comics of the ACBD, with e.g. in 2006 alone 288,900 albums, putting Cédric at the fourth spot. By 2008, Cédric had dropped to the 8th position, still selling 273,000 copies that year. A series of animated cartoons based on the comic have been produced as well.

The adventures of a young rascal, his family and his school. A hero close to the hearts of all children, funny yet tender at the same time.
