Amy's Diary 03 - Moving On! (Papercutz 2019)

by Veronique Grisseaux (Author). Since Amy’s been going out with John, she has become the most popular girl in the halls. But she spends so much time with her new friends that she forgets Kat, her best friend. As for her ex, Nick, he still thinks about his lost love, Amy. And the icing on the cake: Amy’s mom tells her that they're moving in with her new fiancé, Francis. Aaaaargh! Help! Noooo! Gross! Even if change terrifies her, Amy must try to brave the future with style!

Nemo (2017)

by Bruno (Author). Jules Verne's classic tale is reimagined in this graphic adaptation, which offers a subtle new interpretation of one of literature's most famous captains. In this re-telling of the classic 20,000 Leagues Under The Sea, NEMO offers an uncompromising look at life under the sea, where men are free of society and beasts roam the deep. Bruno delivers a nuanced adaptation of this literary masterpiece.

Forbidden Harbor (NBM 2015)

By Teresa Radice, Illustrated by Stefano Turconi. In the summer of 1807, the Explorer, a ship from Her Majesty's Navy recovers a young shipwreck off the coast of Siam, Abel, who can only remember his name. He soon becomes friends with the first officer, acting as a captain because the commander of the ship has apparently absconded with the ship's treasure. Abel returns to England with the Explorer and finds accommodation at the inn run by the three fugitive captain's daughters. Well before he can recover his memory, however, he will discover something deeply disturbing about himself, and he will understand the true nature of some of the people who helped him. A haunting and intense book that digs into the soul of the protagonists as well as the reader, with a generous helping of good ol' fashioned salty adventure along with many a shanty sung and a sprinkling of magic dust. Presented in a handsome old style, with a worn-looking hardcover, as if taken from a ship captain's library. An uplifting, enthralling escape.

Lucilla’s parents are too busy to pay much attention to their daughter, who still feels lonely despite being surrounded by an army of maids and servants. But everything changes when she meets Tosca — a mini Robin Hood living a life so different to her own — and their adventures through 14th-century Tuscany begin.

Globetrotting Viola

The first chapter of the series takes place in Paris. Viola, the young protagonist, is divided between her free life in the circus and her duty at school. But Paris is the city of beuty and art, and soon she will make an encounter with a special person! Script by Teresa Radice - Art by Stefano Turconi
An album in 3 parts recounting the wonderful adventures of Viola, a very unusual 12-year-old girl. Daughter of a stuntwoman and an insect tamer, Viola is truly full of surprises. Through the wanderings of the ‘Moon Circus’ at the end of 1800, Viola travels Europe, America and Asia. During her travels she runs into all sorts of magic and intrigue. Astounded by the beauty of the world around her, Viola is sensitive to the arts that compound her daily existence: music, painting, drawing, nature, and many more… Accompanied by her animal friends (Sinbad the gibbon and her father’s insects), and also by the circus family, Viola goes on to meet Henri Toulouse-Lautrec, and later Antonin Leopold Dvorak. A real coming-of-age story in which art and beauty are celebrated on every page. Packed with fantasy and charming humor.
