XIII

XIII (Thirteen) is a Belgian graphic novel series about an amnesiac who seeks to discover his past. It was created by writer Jean Van Hamme and artist William Vance. XIII was released in 1984 as a serial in the popular Spirou magazine, and it was popular among Spirou readers. The first three episodes were released as a single hardcover volume by Dargaud the same year. XIII was originally written in French, and it was translated into several languages, including Dutch, German, Polish, Tamil, Serbo-Croatian, and Italian. 

Jean Van Hamme has declared that he will not continue to write the series, but William Vance is interested in continuing it with another writer. Yves Sente, who had already taken over writing Thorgal from Van Hamme, was interested to continue the series. He was contacted by William Vance and said he'd propose a story to Van Hamme, but no agreement has been reached yet. Ever since October 2008, Sente has authored volume 20 of the comic series (Mayflower Day), published in late 2011, alongside Youri Jigounov.

Bob Morane

Bob Morane is the hero of a series of novels created in 1953 by the Belgian writer Henri Vernes. Originally conceived as a kind of adventurer mid-vigilante mid spook, the character evolved in half a century and now lives more varied adventures, exotic trip to espionage tale or science fiction. The author himself has adapted his novels into scripts comics, and wrote untold stories for that media. The artists who designed Bob Morane are Dino Attanasio, Gérald Forton, William Vance and Coria. French bony face, hair cut short and gray eyes nyctalope, adroit in jujitsu and weapons handling, Morane said Robert "Bob" is eternally 33 years old. Adventurer practicing espionage on occasion and is not afraid to attend underworld, it has relations in the secret services (such as the American spy Herbert Gains CIA or agent to gold teeth Roman Orgonetz ), among the most colorful representatives of demobilized soldiers and all pègres the world.

Ramiro

Ramiro is a Franco-Belgian comic series, created by Scénario : Jacques Stoquart, and Drawing by William Vance from 1977 until 1989 by Dargaud Publisher. Each album is completed with an important iconographic opening record to a more educational approach to history. The historical past of this country allows Vance to express all his love to Spain. The colors are also carried by his wife, Petra.

Bastard son of the king of Castile, Ramiro was entrusted by his father delicate missions. Bruce J. Hawker

Bruce J. Hawker is the character namesake of a series of comic Belgian published by Editions du Lombard. It was created, written and drawn by William Vance for the weekly women today Women in 1976 and appeared in Tintin from 1979. William Vance teamed in 1987 with André-Paul Duchateau for the scenario.

At the dawn of the xix th century, when it is abandoned by his own, Bruce J. Hawker, become pirate after being lieutenant in the Royal Navy, seeking to find at any price its place in society, and between wars conspiracies.

Blueberry

Blueberry is a Franco-Belgian comics western series created by the Belgian scriptwriter Jean-Michel Charlier and French comics artist Jean "Mœbius" Giraud. It chronicles the adventures of Mike Blueberry on his travels through the American Old West. Blueberry is an atypical western hero; he is not a wandering lawman who brings evil-doers to justice, nor a handsome cowboy who "rides into town, saves the ranch, becomes the new sheriff and marries the schoolmarm." In any situation, he sees what he thinks needs doing, and he does it.
The series spawned out of the original comics series "Fort Navajo" in 1963, but after a few stories breakout character "Blueberry" got his own spin-off and the series continued under this title. The older "Fort Navajo" stories are available under the name "Blueberry" too. Other spin-offs, such as "La Jeunesse de Blueberry" and "Marshall Bluberry", were created too.
It has been remarked that during the 1960s, Blueberry "was as much a staple in French comics as, say, The Avengers or The Flash here [in the USA]."

The story follows Michael Steven Donovan, nicknamed "Blueberry", a name he chooses when fleeing from his Southern enemies (which is inspired when he looks at a blueberry bush), starting with his adventures as a lieutenant in the United States Cavalry shortly after the American Civil War. He is accompanied in many tales by his hard-drinking deputy, Jimmy McClure, and later also by Red Woolley, a rugged pioneer.
Donovan is the son of a rich Southern farmer and starts as a dedicated racist. He is framed for a murder he did not commit, flees and is saved by an African-American. He becomes an enemy of discrimination of all kinds, fights against the Confederates, and tries to protect the rights of Native Americans.

Bruno Brazil

Bruno Brazil is a Franco-Belgian comics series written by Greg, under the pseudonym Louis Albert, and drawn by William Vance. It was initially serialised in the Franco-Belgian comics magazine Tintin, first appearing on January 17, 1967. The first album publication was in 1969, while the latest album was first published in 1995.

Bruno Brazil is the leader of a small, elite combat unit of the American secret service, the "Cayman Command", of which each member has some special skills. Together they fight crime and exotic threats. The series is notable for not avoiding casualties among the Cayman Command.
