The first volume of a series of 10, covers the often unrecognized period from prehistory until about 830 AD. It traces the original culture of the megaliths, the expansion of agriculture, the discovery of the metal, the history of the Bronze princes, expansion of the Celts, the Roman occupation, the barbarian invasions, the arrival of the Britons, the confrontation with the Franks. With this first album begins intelligent series, well documented, attractive and enjoyable. This comics really shows archaeological findings. It is very true to what we know of that time. I love the details. They even talk about the alignment of Carnac, Cairn (graves), the clans lifestyle. This book is instructive and accessible to a child of ten years.
