The Killer

The Killer (Le Tueur) is a French comic book by writer Matz and artist Luc Jacamon which follows the life of an unnamed assassin. The series was published in twelve albums by Casterman. It was translated into English and published by Archaia Studios Press, who turned each album into two comic books.

This is the autobiography of a professional killer. A solitary and cold man, methodical and conscientious, who does not bother with scruples or regrets. We share his thoughts, we get to know him and we discover his life through many flashbacks, we listen to his monologue, we get accustomed to his implacable lonely logic and we would almost take sympathy for him.

In A Time to Die a conflict between the warrior empire Zu Chon Rei to peaceful Jatta. The leaders of the planet Jatta decide to shelter one of the symbols of their people, their future princess. Learning that, the Zu CHon Rei decides to hire a mercenary terrorist, the Baron, who sets up a team to find and liquidate the future princess. The team includes a certain DJ Kobb with superhuman physique and ability to generate holograms, and Mr. Van Liemt, a billionaire using such sophisticated and deadly weapons. For its part, the FLEA groups its best agents, including Jerry Mail in a special team in charge of protecting the princess: the Bad Company. The confrontation is inevitable.

Hombre

Hombre is a Spanish comics series written by Antonio Segura and drawn by José Ortiz, first published in 1981 in the magazine Cimoc. A post-apocalyptic series, Hombre is set on Earth after the collapse of the technological civilization. The protagonist moves through the scenery in the manner of a desillusioned solitary survivor, with hidden traces of humanity despite the widespread loss of humanity in most people he encounters, and always with a cigarette in the corner of his mouth. Though the plot is compared with that of Jeremiah, Hombre does not share the underlying motif of hope and survival of mankind of the former.

Created during the resurgence of Spanish comics in the years after the fall of Franco, Segura wrote Bogey and Orka in the same period, though it was Hombre in collaboration with Ortiz that would prove the most successful. After its initial run in Cimoc, Segura and Ortiz brought Hombre to the magazine KO Comics, one of the three magazines the artists' publishing cooperative Metropol produced during its short existence in 1984. After Metropol ceased business, Hombre relocated to the pages of Cimoc for a second run. The Spanish album releases were published by Norma Editorial. Enjoying popularity in France, the series was printed in albums by publishers Kesselring, Magic Strip and Soleil Productions. English language translations of the series appeared in Heavy Metal during the 1980s and 1990s. In Italy, it appeared starting from 1982 in the magazine Lanciostory.

A few years later, across the Atlantic, a notable Long Island blew his brains out. Banal suicide? Again, the truth is perhaps elsewhere. This is certainly the opinion of Adam Clayton, who fears for the safety of the President. For now, it is mostly hers is threatened: the White House, we decided to dispense with his services. Cape Horn

Cape Horn is a series of French comic gender adventure written by Christian Perrissin and designed by Enea Riboldi. Edited by The Associated Humanoids, Volume 1 published in October 2005. As they try to escape their enemies by taking the sea, two adventurers, the captain and his friend Orth Duca will discover Oushouaïa, small isolated village where several communities come together despite their differences.

WW 2.2

The Battle of Paris, conducted by Chauvel, Boivin and Henninot, is the first volume of WW.2.2, an alternate history story of war-like. Goering launched the offensive on Belgium and France. But torrential rain put an end to hopes of a quick victory for the Wehrmacht. The Germans aim to take Paris. Emptied of its occupants, the capital is defended by small groups of French soldiers. One of them, commanded by Sergeant Meunier, will play a decisive role in the battle ahead, the first turning point . war will be the battle of Paris the 1st volume of WW.2.2 begins with a prologue that introduces the idea around which built this comic unusual: a man tells how, in November 1939, he killed Adolf Hitler. A comic by David Chauvel and Hervé Boivin.

Wonderball

San Francisco, 1983. A spree killer kills 9 people on a busy street from a rooftop. Inspector Spaddaccini, nicknamed Wonderball by his colleagues because he eats candy all day, is responsible for the investigation. The speed of the killer reminds him of an event which marked his career: the Kennedy assassination. 

Being forced leave pending the results of the internal investigation into the death of the "Hunter" Wonderball attends the funeral of his friend Bob Archer. There he is approached by a mysterious individual claiming to know the relationship between the Invisible College and the death of Archer. These revelations lead Wonderball in the footsteps of his past as well as tombs carved into the Nevada desert.
