The Sons of El Topo v01 - Cain (2018)

Legendary filmmaker Alejandro Jodorowsky (The Incal, Metabarons) and virtuosic illustrator José Ladrönn (Cable, Incredible Hulk) deliver a sequel to Jodorowsky's cult classic film, El Topo. El Topo was once a bandit without limits, a man with no moral compass, until his journey through the desert brought him to religion and enlightenment. As he became a holy vessel imbued with the power to perform miracles, he left behind his first born son Cain, and brought forth the birth of Abel. Fueled by resentment, and unable to kill his saintly father, Cain begins the slow pursuit of his half brother in a tale of magic and mayhem.

The Patient (2019)

The police arrest a young woman wandering the streets covered in blood, with a knife in her hand. Returning her to her home, the officers are horrified to discover the whole family murdered... 6 years later, Pierre Grimaud, the sole survivor of the “Rue des Corneilles massacre”, awakens from a profound coma. The 15 year old teenager has become a 21 year old young man. Disoriented, still paralysed and suffering from partial amnesia, he is taken into the care of doctor Anna Kieffer, a psychologist specialising in criminology and victimology. Through their sessions, Anna tries to help him remember the circumstances of the massacre, despite the gaps in his memory. Pierre tells her about the presence of a mysterious “man in black” who haunts his dreams, probably a subconscious response to his trauma. After several sessions, Anna grows to realise that Pierre is a sensitive and highly intelligent person. Touched by his story, she even starts feeling affection for him. Little by little, a true bond begins to form between them. Anna cannot imagine how much this patient will change her life.

The Big Bonfire (2020)

Justin was planning to go on holiday with his friends, but instead his parents take him to stay on a farm. He soon finds himself caught up in an adventure in which he discovers how modern farming can produce high-quality food, while also contributing to the European economy and preserving the environment. A chaotic ride on Fred the donkey leads to him meeting Agatha, an old lady with green fingers, who is desperately trying to save her family home from the grasp of property developers. Will Justin and Elena, the farmer’s daughter, be able to help Agatha save her precious home? Does the answer lie in her old family recipe for elf jam? Justin and Elena are sure they can help her. But will they succeed?
