John Lord

An old-fashioned yet truly original noir tale set in 1920s New York where an unlikely pair of detectives pursue a mysterious killer. Freshly returned from WWI, ex-detective John Lord is convinced to reactivate a special investigative agency known as the UPIs to probe the grisly death of its founder. As John is joined by Clara, an opinionated psychology student, the duo is taken on a wild ride from the Big Apple to Louisiana's Bayou Country. A pulpy tale of crime, full of snappy dialogue, twists and turns, and the unraveling mysteries of the past.

Vizilsan 01 - Blue Rabbit's Crystal (2013)

Vizilsan is a world hemmed by dreams. Full of contrast, reminiscent of a world from a time long forgotten, yet blessed with certain technological accomplishments from a distant future. The lines between magic and science are blurred. The vast diversity of races poses the question of their origin – either from another planet or a different time. It is a wonderful world of dense forests, endless rivers, vast oceans, insurmountable mountain tops, arid deserts. A world full of life. Alas, the energy that once maintained this natural balance has begun wandering aimlessly due to crazed exploitation of natural resources, threatening to destroy that world. Few are aware. Few are trying to do something about it. A human duchess and a battle-hardened kaitian warrior, with the help of a few loyal friends, will try to restore the balance to the world and secure its survival. An epic adventure across the five continents of the world of Vizilsan now begins…

A Love for the Ages (2015)

Jean and Germaine are the most affable couple the little village of Colle sur Loup has ever seen. A duke married to a commoner, they have no children, no jobs, and are disastrous cooks! They like to indulge in life’s small pleasures; their books, their garden, and their after-lunch naps. They live for each other, and for their love. Their simple happiness intrigues, fascinates, infuriates and is the envy of all those around them.

Incognito 01 - Perfect Victims (2017)

This is the story of an invisible man. He’s a man that no one ever notices. He is transparent, whatever he does. This is rather a difficult cross to bear! One night, the man who so wants to be seen loses it. He’s had enough. He wants to feel things too! His outburst costs him an ankle injury, which in turn leads him to Berenice, the lovely young physiotherapist. She soon sets him straight: we are all victims in one way or another! Gregory Mardon develops a narrative based on the infernal spiral of human relationships, in which love is manipulation, kindness is selfishness and cruelty is an art.

Come Back To Me Again (2015)

This is a dramatic graphic novel because it is about life. This is romance, because there is love. This is crime, because it’s about mysterious death. Rain Wolf

A Western in two volumes that comes out of the beaten path. Bruce, son of the Vincent Mc Dell railroad magnate, protects Rain wolf who just killed, in self-defense, a white man and fled with Little moon, the woman whose brother Jack is in love with ... Little Moon does not yet know who will be her husband, but she has received from her grandfather a monocle with the strange powers that would probably tell him. The Cody clan, who dreams of revenge for the Mc Dell, starts chasing the runaways, after abducting the young and pretty white, sister of the two brothers. Meanwhile, an old man appeared on the road of rain-wolf and small moon, haunted by the desire to find the white buffalo. He steals the monocle... This intimate Western is narrated by a woman: Blanche. Atypical, it addresses the right to difference, the understanding between peoples and the place of women in a society largely dominated by men. The plot, which relies on Indian legends, is full of mysteries. Script by Jean Dufaux - Art by Rubén Pellejero.
