The troubles threaten to switch to revolution. Immediately, the Emperor Justinian summoned to the palace Maxence, head of his personal secret services. He charges him to investigate the murder ... A User's Guide to Neglectful Parenting (2015)

With A User’s Guide to Neglectful Parenting, the trademark dry humor that pervades Guy Delisle’s landmark and praised graphic travelogues takes center stage. Quick, light vignettes play on the worries and cares any young parent might have, and offer wry solutions to the petty frustrations of being a dad who works from home.

Calamity Jane - The Calamitous Life of Martha Jane Cannary, 1852-1903 (2017)

Return to the real-life days of the wild, wild West where the life was rough... especially for women. The prototypical cowgirl, Calamity Jane was a bona fide frontierswoman, a professional scout, drunk, and sometime whore, doing whatever it took to stay alive in the hardscrabble days of American expansion. Writer Christian Perrissin (El NiƱo, Cape Horn) joins forces with Alph-Art-winning artist Matthieu Blanchin to tackle the legend of Martha Jane Cannary and her daring life alongside the likes of Buffalo Bill Cody and Wild Bill Hickok. Presented in English for the first time ever, this graphic novel illustrates the extraordinary tale of an independent woman with gumption -- the incredible Calamity Jane!

Dayak

The last of his breed, Dayak is born into a futuristic ghetto overrun with ruthless heavy-armed brutes. Dayak is a highly enjoyable example of the standard "corrupt future" graphic novel plot, with the uncommon twist of being set in Africa. A fratricide struggle in a futuristic Africa.
Witness the clash of two brothers in an African Los Angeles which has the feel of an immense ghetto. On one side there is Dayak, abandoned as a child, he was raised in secret and initiated in the world of magic. On the other there is Simon, President of CPM, a mining company that sees Africa, merely, as a vast depositary ripe for pillaging. The battle that ensues between the two is not just brother against brother; it is man against money and love versus indifference. And it also represents a clash of two indestructible forces: machines against wizards, technology against magic.
After a number of albums Dayak is AdamovĆ¢'s first series as both artist and writer. It is a dynamic work rich in design, with textured colours, there is intrigue, passion and politics blended together to create a bewitching and sulphurous mix.

Mister President

In this series, the Bush years are revisited in the zany, sarcastic style of Chaplin in “The Great Dictator.” This scathing series of sketches is, more than ever, in tune with contemporary United States foreign policy. Script by Clarke - Art by Clarke. Across the ocean, there is a wonderful, magical land. A paradise of free markets and genetically-altered chicken! This land, still young and full of hope (except for the downtrodden) truly does exist. It is called the United States of America, and its ruler is Mister President.
