Tango

He used to play a dangerous game, running cash for the mob. Now he calls himself Tango, and he lives in a little village rising like a small island out of the rocky sea of the Andes. He’s made a few friends since he arrived, with whom he’s got a lot in common: they’ve all got secrets from their past, and they’re not exactly who they say they are. One by one, their secrets are revealed in a storm of violence when old friends come knocking, demanding past debts be paid. High up in the Bolivian hills, a mountain community is once again upended by the arrival of strangers and the troubles they seem to bring with them. Script by Matz - Art by Xavier Philippe.

The Killer

The Killer (Le Tueur) is a French comic book by writer Matz and artist Luc Jacamon which follows the life of an unnamed assassin. The series was published in twelve albums by Casterman. It was translated into English and published by Archaia Studios Press, who turned each album into two comic books.
This is the autobiography of a professional killer. A solitary and cold man, methodical and conscientious, who does not bother with scruples or regrets. We share his thoughts, we get to know him and we discover his life through many flashbacks, we listen to his monologue, we get accustomed to his implacable lonely logic and we would almost take sympathy for him.
