Stevenson, The Pirate Within (2018)

This is the fascinating life story of Robert Louis Stevenson, the beloved author of classics such as “Treasure Island” and “Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde,” from his early days as an aspiring writer to his first published works, his love affair and then marriage to Fanny Osbourne, his success as an author, his many travels across Europe and the U.S., and finally his voyage to the islands of the South Pacific, where he eventually built the house of his dreams. Stevenson never let his weak lungs (which he referred to as pirates waging a battle inside him) and delicate constitution stand in the way of his insatiable thirst for adventure, living life on his own terms until the very end.

An intimate and humorous autobiography of a boy's quest for identity as he struggles with his heritage and his heroes. “I’m Jewish!” yells Benjamin, adorning a cape, as he soars among his classmates on the playground. Convinced by his father that Judaism is some kind of superpower, Benjamin believes that each of his eccentric, Jewish relatives is a superhero in their own right, and that he is sure to follow suit—that is, until he realizes that being “different” has turned him into a Bizarro among his classmates.

My Beijing. Four Stories of Everyday Wonder (2018)

Yu'er and her grandpa live in a small neighborhood in Beijing - and it's full of big personalities. There's a story around every corner, and each day has a hint of magic. In one tale, Yu'er wants to swim in the Special Olympics, a sports competition for people with disabilities. But she and her grandpa don't have a pool! Their trick to help Yu'er practice wows the whole neighborhood. In another story, a friend takes Yu'er to a wild place full of musical insects. Later, Yu'er hears a special story about her grandparents. And in the final story, Yu'er and her grandpa show a cranky painter the sweet side of life.

Bob Morane

Bob Morane is the hero of a series of novels created in 1953 by the Belgian writer Henri Vernes. Originally conceived as a kind of adventurer mid-vigilante mid spook, the character evolved in half a century and now lives more varied adventures, exotic trip to espionage tale or science fiction. The author himself has adapted his novels into scripts comics, and wrote untold stories for that media. The artists who designed Bob Morane are Dino Attanasio, Gérald Forton, William Vance and Coria. French bony face, hair cut short and gray eyes nyctalope, adroit in jujitsu and weapons handling, Morane said Robert "Bob" is eternally 33 years old. Jan Kordaat

The Adventures of Jan Kordaat (in Dutch or Jean Valhardi in Francais ) is a series of Franco-Belgian comics created in 1941 by Jean Doisy, scenario and Jijé, drawing in no.  40/41 journal Spirou. He staged an insurance investigator named Jan Kordaat/Jean Valhardi who travels the world for its investigations. The drawing will then be taken over by Eddy Paape then by René Follet, while in this scenario will succeed Eddy Paape, Yvan Delporte, Jean-Michel Charlier, Philip, André-Paul Duchateau and Jacques Stoquart. 
The series tells the adventures of an investigator insurance, named Jan Kordaat/Jean Valhardi, worldwide, ranging from his Belgian home to the most exotic countries. Thereafter his trade will gradually fade in profile than a pure adventurer and hard one. He is the prototype of cartoon heroes who do not know fear, are beautiful and strong. Arsene Stooges Jean Valhardi that appears mainly during the years Jean-Michel Charlier, this is a type of strong build, muscular and not boastful, just the opposite of the hero.
