Alix Senator

In September 12, 2012 the first volume of Alix Senator titled Eagles Blood 3 has been released , written by Valérie Mangin and designed by Thierry Démarez. The story of Senator Alix takes place when Augustus was named emperor, more than twenty years after the adventures of Alix. Alix became a senator and lives in Rome with his son Titus and Chephren's son Enak (the latter apparently died in Egypt in circumstances still unknown following the death of Cleopatra and Mark Antony). The savage murder of his friend Agrippa (brother of Augustus) by an eagle with golden talons the fate of his adventurous retirement. Who could commit such a crime and why? Both children attend in his task. 
12 BC. Marcus Aemilius Lepidus, chief pontiff of Rome, Agrippa, designated successor of the powerful Emperor Augustus, are mysteriously murdered by eagles tearing the bowels. Alarmed by these events, Auguste load his old friend Senator Gracchus Alix investigate discreetly. An investigation will lead Alix, assisted by his son Titus and Khafre (own offspring Enak, Alix adopted after the disappearance of it) on the trail of the enigmatic master of birds. Yet the danger persists to proceed further to the emperor in person, more and more closely. And Alix will finally discover that the most dangerous raptors nestles in the heart of Rome, where no one could suspect.

Jhen

Jhen is a series of comic history of Jean Pleyers (drawings) and Jacques Martin (screenplay), established in Le Journal de Tintin entitled Xan in 1978 and published in the album Le Lombard (Xan) and Casterman (Jhen) in 1984 . From 2008, the scenario is taken Hughes Payen, while Thierry Cayman alternates with Pleyers for drawing. During his appearance in Tintin, the character named Xan Larc. Following the change of editor Jacques Martin, the series could not be prosecuted under the title Xan. Indeed, if the character belongs to its creator, the copyright of the series was held by Le Lombard. Martin has renamed Jhen. 
The hero, Jhen Roque, is a young master sculptor (and painter) which travels the roads of France at the end of the Hundred Years War; Volume 1 also begins with a failed attempt to save Joan of Arc. It crosses the path of Gilles de Rais, which will be the only friend he can not help but sink into madness, and other historical figures: King Charles VII, cynical but skilful politician, and dolphin Louis who really takes after his father.


Lefranc

Lefranc, formerly The Adventures of Lefranc (1954-1961) or Guy Lefranc (1977-1982), is a character of Franco-Belgian comics and a series of comic adventure Franco-Belgian created by Jacques Martin.
The series features the hero, the journalist - see Guy Lefranc in 1952. The first adventure The Great Menace sold over a million and a half copies until 2002, 2 - appeared in Tintin in Belgium on 21 May 1952 and in France the 3 July 1952 establishing the main characters of the series: the journalist Guy Lefranc, his protégé the young Jeanjean (in a relationship reminiscent linking Alix and Enak), the Commissioner Renard, and the eternal villain of the series, the mysterious Axel Borg.
The author only provides the realization of two albums: Hurricane The Fire and The Mystery Borg, who are among the best in the series, before devoting himself only to the scenario and leave the designs to Bob de Moor. He then says the designer Gilles Chaillet following nine albums.

Keos

Keos (Original title: Keos) is a published 1991-1999 French-Belgian comic series. The series is about the young nobleman at the court of Keos successor Ramses II. In ancient Egypt. He has to fend off several intrigues. Another issue is the exodus of the Israelites under Moses.
Jacques Martin was with the previous work of Jean Pleyers at Jhen so pleased that he gave him the graphic part of this series. The French original editions were published in various publishing houses. All three albums were later Casterman reissued was also Casterman for the German edition of the 2001 charge.

Alix

Alix, or The Adventures of Alixis a popular Franco-Belgian comics series drawn in the ligne claire style by one of its masters,Jacques Martin (1921-2010). The stories revolve around a young Gallo-Roman man named Alix in the late Roman Republic.
Although the series is renowned for its historical accuracy and stunning set detail, the hero has been known to wander into anachronistic situations up to two centuries out of his era. The stories unfold throughout the reaches of the Roman world, including the city of Rome, Gaul, the German frontier, Mesopotamia, Africa and Asia Minor. One voyage goes as far as China.
