Back to Basics

What happens when a native of Juvisy, a laughing little town in the Parisian suburbs, sets out to settle in the country among calves, cows, pigs? At a minimum, a huge cultural shock. It is necessary to learn to speak the dialect, to discover the effects of local alcohol and especially to detoxify the perif. Back to Basics. Created by Jean-Yves Ferri, Manu Larcenet.
On remember, Mariette and Larssinet had decided to settle for ever in the country. And for good reason, the young woman awaits a baby and Manu, meanwhile, anguish thoroughly. And he can read and re-read Laurence Pernoud, it does not help him to find answers on his condition of future dad. The first two volumes were hilarious, this one, despite the change of subject, is equally so. Disappeared the disappointments of life in the country, Manu has finally acclimatized itself, we laugh here of his emotions before the state of his companion. And even if the subject has already been developed remarkably by other authors like Dodo and Ben Radis, the treatment of the authors of the vast world is very different, but equally funny.
