1920s Nairobi. When two Africans are found gruesomely murdered, all signs point to John Wallace, a promising young plantation owner with a bright future ahead of him and a beautiful bride-to-be. What drove him to kill these men? His silence and a corrupt system lead to internment, without a trial, in a vicious Kenyan prison camp. But sadistic guards, conspiring cellmates, and harsh desert labor are no match for the suffering that Wallace feels inside over the life he lost, and how best to get it back. He’s willing to do anything for revenge—even loose the mysterious beast lurking within… Script by Stephen Desberg - Art by Hugues Labiano.

Golden Dogs
1820, London. On the quays of the Thames the wealth from the eastern counters is crowded within reach, but the unfortunate who succumb to temptation are pitilessly punished. The misery that reigns under the fog of London is the occasion for many exactions, for to offer a place to the sun, when there are, there are only few solutions and the easiest is not the More honest! In January 2013, Griffo signed the first part of the mise en abyme by Valérie Mangin and, in November, the third opus of L'oracle della luna. 2014 will be equally prolific since already Fanny appears, first part of the tetralogy Golden dogs with Stephen Desberg to the script. Leaving the seventeenth century to go to dazzle in the early 19th century, the Belgian draftsman demonstrates his ability to account for the atmosphere of the eras he frequents.
They were four, two girls and two boys. Thieves, crooks, forgers, they united their talents to become together the most famous thieves in London.

Black Op
1945, Floyd was 4 years old when he decides that he will one day be part of the CIA. The Russians just killed his father and he wants to contain the red ogre. 1967 as America knows the summer of love, he joined the company and soon had his first assignment in India, where it will introduce the Great Game of the Cold War. 2004, why Floyd resurfaced today in a sleepy American who triumphed Marxism? © Dargaud. Black Op. A comic by Stephen Desberg and Hugues Labiano.
Floyd Whitman is a former field agent operating for the lead within the CIA. Intrigued by electoral fraud during the last US presidential elections, he decided to conduct his own investigation. On his way, he finds old acquaintances: Russian he had the opportunity to help in the sixties during covert operations to help the Russian mafia to fight from within the Communist power. Today, all these men are threatened. By whom and for what purpose? Black Op, a title that slap, awfully good to the image of his covers, referring to the masters of geopolitical thrillers such as Tom Clancy and Robert Ludlum. The reference is very flattering and far from being usurped because stephen desberg (IR $, Scorpio, Dixie Road ...) takes us on a breathless narrative and perfectly controlled. The good impressions felt on reading the first volume are confirmed with this second album. The secret stories always will fascinate, and those of the CIA subversive even more than ever. Imagine that agents helped the mafia.

The Scorpion
The Scorpion is a Franco-Belgian comics series written by Stephen Desberg, illustrated by Enrico Marini and published by Dargaud in French and Cinebook in English.
The story takes place in Rome during the second half of the eighteenth century. Cardinal Trebaldi decides to reinstate the power of the nine families, based on papacy. Armando Catalano, also known as The Scorpion, is a holy relics dealer. He is the son of a heretic who was burnt alive for misdirecting a priest from the church and Christian beliefs. Armando, the bearer the “mark of the devil”, a birthmark in the shape of a scorpion, will challenge the cardinal’s authority. The cardinal, who seems to be filled with hatred for The Scorpion, sends the young gypsy Mejai specialized in poisons to kill him. The adventures of the Scorpion lead him to the treasure of the Templars and to discover an interpretation of what might have happened to it. Between fiction and history, this comic distills Machiavellian theory on religious authority.

Tif and Tondu
Tif et Tondu (Tif and Tondu) is a Belgian comic strip about a duo of private investigators, originally created, written and drawn by Fernand Dineur. Several artists and writers have worked on the series but the most popular version is that drawn by Will, with writers Maurice Rosy, Maurice Tillieux and Stephen Desberg. The strip first started in 1938 and lasted until 1997, just one year short of its 60th birthday. Tif and Tondu are adventurers and detectives who solve cases around the world, from the United States to the Congo. The central irony of the series' title was that the two friends had names which actually better suited the other: Tif is French slang for "hair" yet the character is bald-headed and clean-shaven. He also tends to be more reckless and has an eye for the ladies.
Tondu is the French for "sheared" but he wears thick hair and beard. He is also more level-headed and is the brains of the partnership. He often takes up journalism when short of money.
The series made its debut on 21 April 1938 in the first issue of Spirou magazine as Aventures de Tif, written and drawn by Fernand Dineur. Within a few issues Tif had made the acquaintance of Tondu, ashipwrecked sea captain, and the two joined forces, traveling the world in search of adventure.
In 1949, Dineur passed the drawing over to Will, but continued to provide the scenarios for the next three years before retiring from the strip. At this time, their adventures were also published in Héroic Albums, drawn by Dineur. Another artist, Marcel Denis, also contributed a handful of stories in the early 1960s. Will himself worked on the strip for almost 40 years in collaboration with various writers. This period, kept together by his distinctive drawing and handling of the characters, is seen as the strip's golden age.

Gil Jourdan
Gil Jourdan is a Belgian detective comic strip created by Maurice Tillieux. It is considered a great combination of mystery, adventure and humour, and a masterpiece of European comics. The series ended in 1978 following Tillieux's death. Ten years later Soleils Editions published the comic book L'Hommage à Gil Jourdan - Les enquêtes de leurs amis ("Homage to Gil Jourdan - Their Friends' Cases") with the approval of Tillieux's family.
It featured Jourdan and his colleagues in adventures written and drawn by other writers and artists, including several leading ones such as Pierre Seron, Turk, Éric Maltaite and Tillieux's former assistant Stephen Desberg. The stories also featured some of the crooks from the Tillieux period returning and seeking revenge. Tillieux had been notable for not using the same enemy twice. The cover was drawn by François Walthéry.
