After spending 1000 years sitting on his stone throne, meditating on his immortal condition, a man, the ancient King of Hyperborea, leaves for Mount Olympus. Having seen his family and his people disappear in the course of a too-long life, he has finally decided to find the Gods to question them about his strange nature. Why him? How to die?
