London, 1897. A series of unexplained fatalities occurs in the Docklands area. A former police officer of Scotland Yard tries to infiltrate a well site employing unlicensed workers, victims of these accidents. He discovered the existence of a war without thank you between the powerful Golden Shell and a handful of mercenaries led by Molly Vane, equipped with strange and scary machines, Clockwerx. At the heart of the confrontation, discovery, and especially the control of a new energy source able to tip the global balance. Year 1897. Many workers without permits were killed after being illegally employed in a mysterious site. In addition, for those who were complaining about working conditions, the penalty is immediate and radical. Matt Thurow, former Scotland Yard cop, took it upon himself to understand what is really happening, and enjoys a strong intervention on the docks to save two workers of a mechanical death, and backtracking. For its part, the charming and very deliberate Molly Vane reached the London docks after a disastrous trip to sea during which she lost many friends. However, having been able to save his precious cargo but unfortunately not his arm, she always seems ready to implement its plan to counter his former boss, Oak. Two destinies that will not soon cross.
